Valhalla revolves around direct combat, partly abandoning the series’ earlier focus on silent kill mechanics. The fantastic game design adds to the epic feeling of this narrative. Once you arrive, you’ll create settlements, forge alliances, and tackle the factions of England’s four kingdoms you find there. You step in their shoes and start a grand adventure to take your tribe to England. Valhalla recreates Dark Agents England, following the adventure of Evoir, a male or female Norse Viking, depending on your preference. There are also new Odyssey-inspired tattoos to collect, and a new sail design for your ship. The Isle of Skye is a great place to find mythical-level gear and Tungsten Ingots early in the game! There are two mythical-level weapons you can obtain in the Isle of Skye, the Spear of Leonidas and the Hero’s Sword. This allows you to visit the island fairly early in the overall narrative of the game and not have to worry about being immediately overpowered by a small group of enemies.
The Isle of Skye has a power level of 55. The quest allows Eivor to meet Kassandra who is trying to find an ancient Issun artifact that may be wreaking havoc on the island. This story arc is about the same length as a usual region in England, and will likely take you around an hour or two to complete the questline. Once Valka’s Hut is established, and you’ve completed In Dreams, you’ll unlock the introductory quest A Distorted Dream at Raventhorpe.
